The next Bingo is the Christmas Special on 9th December at 7.30 p.m. in the Clubroom.

Fireworks
Despite the bad weather, there was a good turnout and we made £328 profit.
£1500 of fireworks made a good display. Thank you very much to all who helped to make it a successful evening.
Filby in Bloom
The first meeting of the new season is on Wednesday 23rd November at 7.30 p.m.
All welcome. We will discuss the 2005 results and our plans for 2006.
Work continues in the churchyard, to be followed by work at the School Car Park, School Pond and boundaries of the playing field. We meet every Saturday morning at 9 a.m, Filby in Bloom calendars are available now. Year planners will be available at the end of December. Christmas Raffle - to be drawn at the January Bingo. We look toward to another good display of Christmas lights

Proposed Youth Club
A meeting is to be arranged in the New Year to discuss the possibility of forming a Youth Club in the village. Young people and their parents will be invited to attend. If you have any suggestions or ideas about this project please let us know
Filby First School
We are now busy preparing for a very exciting Christmas period at Filby School. Our Nativity will take place at 7 pm on Wednesday 7th December in Filby Church Hall and 2 pm on Thursday 8th December in Stokesby Village Hall. The Carol Service will be at Filby Church on Wednesday 14th December at 2 pm. We hope to see many of you at these events.
On the afternoon of Friday 16th December we will be having a party for the children, and we break up for Christmas on Tuesday 20th December, Finally we would like to thank all those people who contributed to our collection at our Harvest Celebration. Thanks to their generosity we raised enough money to purchase 9 pairs of goats for poor families who take in an orphan in Africa. We wish you a happy and peaceful Christmas from Filby School.
