Filby in Bloom
We continue to meet each Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at the Post Office. Next project will be to clear weed from the village pond. More trees will be planted at Ormesby Lane and more bulb planting is planned
Filby Fete
Thank you very much to everyone who helped in any way at the fete. Excellent turn out. At the moment we have £4000 clear with BBQ and Bar money to come in.
Firework Display
Sunday 4th November at 5.30 pm. Filby Playing Field. Competition for best guy - 2 categories - under 16 and 17+
Bingo
Next Bingo has been booked for Friday 7th September at 7.30pm in the Clubroom. The proceeds will go to the new Village Hall Fund.
Waste Paper
Please continue to leave waste paper/yellow pages, junk mail etc at the Blue Bank at Filby Post Office. Money raised will be for the new Village Hall.
Dogs for the Disabled
Fun Day Sunday 9th September Filby Playing Field. Come along with your "Long Haired, Short Coated, Cross, Rescue, Prettiest, Most Handsome" dogs 15 Classes - Rosettes to 5th place
Judging starts at 10.00 a.m. Have a go at Agility, Flyball and Scurry and help a really worthwhile cause. Free admission and parking
Norfolk Association for the Disabled Flegg District
Coffee Morning at Fleggburgh Village Hall, 10.30-12 noon on Wednesday 19th September in aid of outings for the Disabled. Stalls, Cakes and Produce, Plants, Raffle Coffee and biscuits 50p
Wanted
Clothes, material, handbags and shoes - Any condition, but clean. These will be bagged up and sent to under-developed countries, so you will not only be helping them but bringing revenue in for the New Hall.
