Born on the 25th December 1893 in Filby, the eldest son of Frank and Sarah Ann Tennant, neé Sexton.
At the time of the 1901 census Frank is living with his family on Thrigby Road.
Frank enlisted at Norwich initially into the Norfolk Regiment, service number 3018, he later transferred to the Northumberland Fusiliers, 5th Battalion, service number 6583.
Frank died a Private in France and Flanders on 10th February 1917 aged 23 years.
He is remembered on the Filby School memorial, the memorial at the church and at Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, France.
Frank was awarded the Victory and British medals.
