Medals
As well as medals for outstanding bravery or service, campaign medals were also awarded for service in specific areas.
Star
This medal was awarded for service in France and Flanders between 23rd November 1914 and 31st December 1915 or for service in any theatre of war between 5th August 1915 and 31st December 1915.
British War Medal
Awarded to servicemen and civilians who served in a theatre of war or service overseas between 5th August 1914 and 11th November 1918
Victory Medal
This was awarded for service in any operational theatre between 5th August 1914 and 11th November 1918.
